In May, Microsoft once again brought together the community of developers and IT professionals at the Microsoft Build Conference in Seattle.
The conference focused on the latest advancements in application development, data and AI.
On Thursday, the 29th of June 2023, U2U invites you in our training center for an evening filled with 2 sessions.
Your host, Jurgen Postelmans, will share some of the key announcements presented during the Microsoft Build Conference that took place last May.
Join us for an evening packed with information, interaction and inspiration!
Doors will be open at 18:00, 30 minutes before the start of the sessions. We will welcome you with drinks and sandwiches.
Introducing Microsoft Fabric
18:30 - 19:30 | Jurgen Postelmans
Microsoft Fabric, announced last May by Microsoft, integrates technologies like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics,
and Power BI into a single unified product, empowering data and business professionals to manage their data in a single analytics platform.
This session will demonstrate the different role-tailored functionalities of Microsoft Fabric. You will become familiar with
terms like OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Spark Notebooks... See it all in action in this demo-rich introduction!
The era of AI
19:45 - 20:30 | Jurgen Postelmans
In this session, we will explore how AI can be integrated in your own applications and data.
One highlight are Plugins. Plugins serve as a bridge between GPT-based large language models and the data that a third party wants to keep private. Furthermore, we take a look at Azure AI Studio, which allows developers to integrate powerful conversational AI models, such as OpenAI's ChatGPT and GPT-4, with their own data.
We end by demonstrating in C# and Python how to consume the APIs of Azure OpenAI and Large Language Models.
