Doors will be open at 18:00, 30 minutes before the start of the sessions. We will welcome you with some drinks and sandwiches.
18:30-19:30: Windows Server 2016 Containers
One of the biggest changes in Windows Server 2016 will be support for containers.
Containers are the latest buzz in IT technology. They enable you to isolate your applications from the underlying OS
improving the deployment and reliability of those applications. Windows Server 2016 will provide two kinds of native
containers: Windows Server Containers and Hyper-V Containers. This session will introduce you into the capabilities of the new Containers technology
in Windows Server 2016.
19:30-20:30: What's new in SharePoint 2016
Microsoft has officially made SharePoint 2016 beta 2 available for us to play with.
The upcoming release of SharePoint 2016 will provide new and improved features to
your SharePoint on-premises deployments, while at the same time making it easier to
take advantage of cloud innovation through hybrid deployments of SharePoint Server with Office 365.
This session will provide you with an overview of the new functionalities in SharePoint 2016 both from
an end user, developer as administrator perspective.
Will Belgium win the European Championship football in 2016? Will Donald Trump become president of the United States in 2016? Nobody knows...
What we do know is that Microsoft will give us another exciting year with new technologies and devices. Perfect moment to look ahead
and invite you for another free evening event on the 21th January 2016 to give you an overview of the new features in both Windows Server 2016 and SharePoint 2016.
